The public is invited to particpate. Mr. Howard is coordinating a public awareness campaign with Charter Communication. Healthy Inspirations Donates Fitness Equipment

Shelly Dutch has been getting fit and trim at Dennis Kotnour's Healthy Inspirations. Her loss is our gain. Because of Shell's connection, Dennis donated spectacular fitness equipment to the Aaron House. The station equipment is in exceptional condition and fits perfectly in the finished basement area.  The equipment is an ideal complement to the Gary Fisher bikes and canoe.

The equipment is worth thousands of dollars and we are blessed to be the recipients of Dennis' generosity.  If you are able to donate a few bucks to offset the cost of delivery, there is the DONATE NOW Button on this page for your convenience. Mad City Movers did the move and kept the cost to a modest $150.00.

Wood Duck Houses Installed in UW Arboretum

Michael Finkel made the houses and Student-Resident Scott organized a crew of MATC students to install them. The UW Arboretum staff supported our project by selecting two beautiful locations. One is near Teal Pond and the other on the south side of Lake Wingra near a spring. Student-Residents of Aaron's House will maintain the houses and track their use. This is a great way to get out into nature and enrich wildlife. Maybe the Aaron House - Wood Duck House will become a legacy.

Thank you to Jim and Linda Leonhart and John Blaha

Jim and Linda donated a new coffee maker and John contributed a new George Foreman grill.

Two Rooms are About to be Taken --- One may open in June

Student-Residents may enter at any time of the year. We have two rooms open today and James Sauer, our clincal director is  working with applicants who may be entering the house in  May.  If these two openings are filled, we still may have an opening in June depending on one current student-resident's plans.

GoodTimes---What it means

In middle-school years, Aaron and his friend Erik Leonhart came up with a quick and easy way to sign year books; Erik would sign "Have a great life--Erik". Aaron used simply "GoodTimes". As the years went on, Aaron's wish for his friends to have Good Times, became his moniker. The phrase was Aaron's way of wishing one well, as well as his desire to live GoodTimes.
