MADISON, WISCONSIN, December 21, 2006-Wisconsin Woman Magazine selects Cathy Meyer, from the Aaron Meyer Foundation, as their January cover story.  This issue of the Magazine will hit news stands Friday, December 22 as well as their website at www.wisconsinwomanmagazine.com.

"Cathy Meyer exemplifies the type of woman we strive to profile in Wisconsin Woman magazine--someone who selflessly tries to make this world a better place,” said Debra Illingworth Greene, Editor of Wisconsin Woman.  “After Cathy's experiences with her son, it would have been understandable if she chose to lead a very private life and keep to herself.  But, instead, she is reaching out--in her son's name--to a population in need. We're proud to include Cathy on our cover."

Aaron Meyer Foundation will be opening Aaron’s House August 2007.  It is an alcohol and drug-free home where young men ages 17-25 will live and support one another while continuing their education. It’s a 3-year pilot project spearheaded by the Aaron Meyer Foundation in partnership with the Chris Farley Foundation and Connections Counseling, LLC.  Each is located in Madison, Wisconsin.
