MADISON, WISCONSIN, December 19, 2006-NARI, National Association of Remodeling Industry, has partnered with Aaron’s House to make the house more energy efficient and help with needed remodeling projects.
Leaders in the Caring Home Makeover, that was given to a deserving family in the Greater Madison area during fall 2005, NARI has a commitment to community service and education. The association feels strongly in giving back to the community that so generously supports its membership.
“Aaron’s house is a great opportunity to accomplish our goals, fulfill a dream and assist in changing the lives of others,” Melinda Monroe, Chairman of the NARI Board has stated, “Many NARI members have graciously agreed to donate labor and materials to complete this project”.
Aaron’s House, opening it doors August 2007 in downtown Madison, is an alcohol and drug-free home where young men live and support one another while continuing their education. It’s a 3-year pilot project spearheaded by the Aaron Meyer Foundation in partnership with the Chris Farley Foundation and Connections Counseling, LLC. Each is located in Madison, Wisconsin.
“I am moved by the overwhelming support of the association members,” said Tom Meyer, Aaron’s Dad, when he learned of NARI’s contribution and commitment to Aaron’s House, “Their contribution to the house will enhance the life of the student-residents and the building.”
