MADISON, WISCONSIN, November 13, 2006-Founder of The Chris Farley Foundation, Tom Farley, publicly announces his partnership with the Aaron Meyer Foundation, Inc.

Both foundations namesakes battled with substance abuse and were Madison area natives.  “It just seems natural from the start, for both foundations to partner and build success with our efforts being so similar,” said Tom Farley.  “People involved with the Aaron Meyer Foundation are clearly as passionate about their foundations efforts as we are about our own."

The Aaron Meyer Foundation will be opening the first Aaron’s House in the Madison Isthmus area August 2007.  Aaron’s House will be a healthy and safe place for young men,” said Tom Meyer, Aaron’s Dad.  “Aaron’s plan for his post high school education included living with peers who knew the challenges of recovery.  The concept for the house is Aaron’s idea.  Tom Farley is an amazing person and he knows the value of a healthy home.  Tom and The Chris Farley Foundation will ensure the residents are learning ways to express themselves and to have good fun.”

The Chris Farley Foundation is dedicated to educating the next generation about the risks and dangers of alcohol and other drug abuse.  They achieve maximum effectiveness by employing comedy to reach their audience with a motto of Think. Laugh. Live.  “I am excited about what both foundations can accomplish as we begin to work together,” said Tom Farley.
