Housing Application

Overview

Aaron's House at 850 E. Gorham St. Madison, WI is a five bedroom house convenient to any one of the post high school educational institutions in and around Madison. One bedroom is reserved for the House-Mentor. We have  four Student-Residents. Each has his own bedroom.  The Aaron Meyer Foundation recognizes the importance of transitioning, with new skills and connections, into the world. Students are welcome to stay at the house for up to twenty four months with exceptions possible.

Post High School Education is a broad opportunity. The amount of educational courses and type is entirely up to the individual and determined by what the student and his counselor, our clinical director, house mentor, and other support persons agree is favorable to the student-resident's health and well being.

Before applying, please be aware that  the House-Mentor is there to provide direction and assitance and will not function as a replacement to the Student-Resident's clinical counselor. Behavior expectations typical of any household are in place.

The Aaron House Program includes a Clinical Director who is a professional in the field of recovery counseling. The Clinical Director does not live on-site.

Persons with a history of violent crime are not permitted in the house. All applications are confidential. Submitting an application does not guarantee a person entrance into the house.
