Assistant House Mentor & Website Manager

Joe Kuehn

Joe has began his journey in recovery a few weeks after he turned 23 years old and remained sober since that point in March of 2007.  After his first year of sobriety, Joe made the decision to quit his corporate job in finance and made recovery his life, instead of trying to fit his life into recovery.  Joe sees the value of his past struggle with addiction, frequently saying, "My biggest weakness can be used as my greatest asset in helping others trying to stay sober."

Joe is nearing the end of his Graduate studies for a Master's in Community Counseling.  He enjoys working with the college-aged population because of the specific challenges they face in getting sober.  In addition to the Aaron House, Joe works in Public Relations and Outreach for Connections Counseling, he works closely with Recovery Foundation, Inc. and owns a web design/marketing consulting business Persona Design Studio.
